Got up early and took the East River Ferry from 34th Street to Wall Street.  It is a nice ride and offers a good views of the city as well as the Manhattan, Williamsburg and Brooklyn bridges.  This is looking at Greenpoint.  It is always a good day to be on the river.

11 Sept 2011//3:53pm                    St Vincent’s Hospital             1/400  f/4.2   34mm  ISO560

On 9/11 a memorial wall sprung up at St Vincent’s Hospital.  Over time it disappeared.  This afternoon when I passed by I saw that some one had left fliers and candles and flowers….just like it was 10 years ago….never forget…..

I passed the Japanese Beat Boxer in Times Square.  He was doing pretty good with tips.  I think he fits right into the mural.
